Ribavirin is a drug which is used to certain condition of viral infections. This antiviral drug plays a very important role in forming resistance against the RNA & DNA viruses. This antiviral drug in the human body must be used with specific care since it can also causes some complications due to substances present in it. Although this Ribavirin is not effective in some cases, it makes the effective treatment against flaviviruses and can be also used to treat influenza. Any rabies conditions in the human body can be treated with this Ribavirin, most of the cases these drugs are just used with other combinations to treat conditions like hepatitis C more effectively. Pegylated interferon drugs are combined with Ribavirin to treat hepatitis C conditions.
